About Us

Our church is a community whose members include people from Minnesota, folks from other parts of the U.S. and many people from other countries. We share an enjoyment of and a desire to be part of a friendly worship family. While we are Presbyterians, we appreciate our many friends of other faiths who join us and are part of our community.

We are part of the Presbyterian Church of the United States of America (PCUSA). The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has approximately 2.5 million members, 11,200 congregations and 21,000 ordained ministers. Presbyterians trace their history to the 16th century and the Protestant Reformation. Our heritage, and much of what we believe, began with the French lawyer John Calvin (1509-1564), whose writings crystallized much of the Reformed thinking that came before him.
